How Fengshuipower creates responsible content — and how we handle your data.

Why this page exists

Our Commitment to Responsible Content

A lot of feng shui writing online drifts into “Your Money or Your Life” territory — the kind of advice held to the highest bar, because it can touch your health, your finances, or big life decisions. We don’t take that lightly. This page is where we lay out who writes for Fengshuipower, how we research and check our work, and — just as importantly — what feng shui can and cannot do for you. Our aim is simple: give you enough context to decide how much weight to put on anything you read here.

What it is — and isn’t

What Feng Shui Is — and Isn’t

The ideas on this site describe how a space feels and functions — flow, balance, light, and arrangement. They are a cultural and philosophical tradition, not a stand-in for professional care. Specifically:

  • Not medical advice. Feng shui does not diagnose, treat, or cure any illness. For anything about your health, see a licensed physician.
  • Not financial or investment advice. We never promise wealth, luck, or returns. For money decisions, talk to a qualified financial advisor.
  • Not legal advice. For contracts, property, or immigration matters, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
  • Not a replacement for your own judgment. Use what you read here as one input among many — never as the only basis for decisions about your wellbeing, safety, or livelihood.

Nothing on Fengshuipower is a promise to change your fortune, health, or circumstances. Anything you act on here, you do so at your own discretion — and when something touches your health, money, or legal standing, the right move is always a qualified professional.

Who is behind it

Who Writes This Content

All content is written by Guo Yutong (Taoist name Sanhe), founder of Fengshuipower. Her training comes from inside a living Taoist lineage, not from books or weekend courses:

  • Formally initiated into Taoism (皈依) and received the Longhu Mountain transmission (传度) at Mount Longhu in 2018, within the Zhengyi (Orthodox Unity) lineage.
  • Trained in the classical schools of Xuan Kong, Ba Zhai, Jin Suo Yu Guan, Ba Zi, and Qi Men Dun Jia.
  • Has served 200+ clients since founding Fengshuipower in 2019 — in person, by referral, and through customized written reports.

You can read her full background on the About page.

How we work

How We Create and Review Content

  • Rooted in lineage and classical sources. Our claims rest on the schools above and on classical Chinese texts — not on whatever is trending online that week.
  • Written by the practitioner. Articles are authored by Sanhe, drawing on her training and client experience.
  • Checked before publication. Each piece is reviewed for accuracy, tone, and clarity before it goes live.
  • Revisited over time. Content is reviewed on a rolling basis (at least once a year) and updated when better sourcing or a clearer explanation comes along.

Where our claims come from

Sources and Citations

When we reference external material — historical facts, academic research, or third-party tools — we link to the original source so you can check it yourself. Much of our method is passed down orally and through practice within the Zhengyi lineage; where a claim rests on tradition rather than a published source, we say so. If something is our view rather than settled teaching, we say that too.

Keeping it accurate

Updates and Corrections

If we find an error, we fix it and note the change where it matters. If you spot something inaccurate or unclear, please tell us via the contact page — corrections are welcome, and we credit them. This page was last reviewed on July 29, 2026.

How we make money

Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure

Fengshuipower may earn a small commission from some product links (recommended books or tools, for example). That never changes what we recommend or how we write — we wouldn’t point you to something we wouldn’t tell a friend about. Any paid partnership is disclosed right where it appears.

Off-site links

External Links

We link to other websites for reference. We don’t control those sites, and a link is not an endorsement of their content or accuracy. Use your own judgment when you leave Fengshuipower.

Your data, your control

Privacy Policy

This section explains what personal data Fengshuipower collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to everyone who visits this site or contacts us, regardless of where you live.

Information We Collect

What you give us directly: when you use our contact form or email us, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, plus anything else you choose to share. If you order a consultation, we also collect the home-layout and birth data you submit so we can prepare your report.

What we collect automatically: like most websites, we use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics) and cookies to see which pages are useful and to improve the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Cookies & Tracking

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them only to remember preferences and to measure anonymous traffic. You can turn cookies off in your browser at any time; the site will still work, though some convenience features may be limited. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you.

How We Use Your Information

We use what you provide solely to: reply to your enquiry, prepare and deliver any consultation you request, and improve our content. We never sell your personal data, and we share it only with the service providers strictly necessary to run the site (our email and analytics hosts, for instance), each bound by their own privacy commitments.

How We Protect Your Data

We keep your information on secured hosting and limit access to it. We retain it only as long as needed to serve you or to meet legal and accounting obligations — consultation records are kept for the life of our working relationship plus any period required by law, and enquiry emails are deleted once handled unless you become a client.

Your Rights — GDPR & CCPA

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. If you are in California (CCPA): you may request the categories of personal information we collect and ask us to delete it; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at fengshuipower.net@outlook.com.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
